About Ivy
My fascination with Chemistry began with observing molecular behavior and the transformative power of reactions. This curiosity led me to pursue an M.Sc in Inorganic Chemistry, where I studied molecular structures, reactions, and analytical techniques. Over 7 years of teaching, I have developed a structured and patient approach that helps learners grasp complex concepts while building confidence. I focus on adapting lessons to individual learning styles, using diagrams, stepwise reasoning, and real-world applications. I encourage exploration, questioning, and independent thinking to ensure deep understanding. My teaching emphasizes clarity, logical progression, and active engagement. Outside teaching, I stay involved with laboratory research, chemical literature, and emerging applications. Bringing these insights into the classroom keeps learning dynamic and relevant. Seeing students develop conceptual mastery and confidence in Chemistry is incredibly rewarding.
