About Rhea
My passion for chemistry began with curiosity about how invisible molecular interactions create the substances and reactions we see around us. I earned a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences and later completed an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry Research, which gave me both theoretical depth and practical laboratory understanding. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students through chemistry with patience, clarity, and strong encouragement.
I believe chemistry learning succeeds best when students feel supported rather than overwhelmed. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex ideas into understandable steps, using diagrams, real-world examples, and clear reasoning. I encourage learners to ask questions freely and build confidence through understanding instead of memorization.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with chemistry through scientific reading, exploring modern research developments, and continued curiosity about chemical innovation. Teaching chemistry is meaningful because I see students transform from uncertainty into confident scientific thinkers. Supporting learners as they unlock their intellectual strength is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Chemistry becomes far more engaging when students realize it explains the materials, reactions, and processes that shape everyday life. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic structure, bonding, chemical equations, thermochemistry, acids and bases, and organic foundations with clear explanation and supportive structure. I focus on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than memorizing isolated facts, so they gain confidence and long-term understanding. Each session creates a calm learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
Lessons are always adapted to the learner’s level. Beginners build strong foundations in periodic trends, basic reactions, and simple calculations such as moles and concentrations. Intermediate students strengthen balancing equations, understanding energetics, interpreting experiments, and applying chemistry to exam-style questions. Advanced learners explore deeper organic mechanisms, equilibrium reasoning, electrochemistry, and higher-level analytical problem solving. Practice questions, feedback, and structured correction are included in every session to ensure steady improvement.
Chemistry lessons develop more than academic success. Students often grow in logical reasoning, scientific curiosity, and confidence in tackling complex material. My goal is to help learners feel empowered by chemistry, excited by discovery, and proud of their growing ability to understand the molecular world.
