About Cora
My chemistry lessons are designed with a focus on sustainability and conscious learning. I believe chemistry is not just about reactions and equations; it’s about shaping a better future. My teaching approach is nurturing and personalized, encouraging students to think deeply about the impact of chemical processes on our planet. We will cover topics like environmental chemistry, pollution remediation, and the principles of green chemistry. Together, we’ll also explore sustainable industrial processes that aim to reduce waste and conserve resources. I use real-world examples to show how chemistry can help solve pressing global challenges, from climate change to water purification. In every lesson, I aim to spark curiosity while guiding students to apply their knowledge responsibly. I provide clear explanations, practical insights, and support to help you succeed academically and professionally. More importantly, I want to help you develop an appreciation for chemistry’s role in protecting our environment.

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. My expertise lies in corrosion chemistry and the various methods used to protect materials from degradation. I specialize in teaching electrochemical corrosion mechanisms, including passivation and cathodic protection. Understanding how and why materials corrode is essential, especially for industries relying on durable infrastructure.
In my lessons, I emphasize practical learning by using real-world examples and industrial case studies. This approach helps students connect theory with everyday applications. We explore how material selection plays a crucial role in corrosion resistance and longevity. I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, making the subject accessible to all levels.
My goal is to equip students with a deep understanding of corrosion processes and prevention techniques. This knowledge is vital for extending the lifespan of critical infrastructure. Whether you’re a university student or a professional seeking to sharpen your skills, I’m here to support your learning journey.
