About Violet
I have spent 9 years teaching chess with the belief that every learner can succeed. Many of my students are retirees who enjoy the challenge and mental stimulation the game offers. I teach with patience, steady pacing, and a welcoming approach. Personalized attention makes every lesson meaningful. Students learn openings, strategies, and endgames step by step. We balance theory with practical play to reinforce skills. Beyond the board, I share stories of famous players and key moments in chess history. These enrich lessons and inspire curiosity. We analyze classic games to spark new insights. Every session is designed to be engaging and supportive. Progress is measured in both small victories and long-term growth. I aim to build confidence alongside skill. Chess teaches focus and creativity, and it rewards perseverance. Above all, it is a lifelong journey filled with joy and discovery.
