About Vinod Shanker
My name is Vinod Shanker Srivastava.
I am 64 years old (fit and fine) and I love teaching and sharing knowledge.
My whole objective of this process is to pass on the simple tricks and techniques that's I have created for most complexed chess problems over so many years.
I genuinely believe that every student has got that spark in them, it is the matter of finding it and giving it a direction.
I am very flexible with timings.

I have taught students for more than 15 years of my life. I know what’s important for a student to excel in a subject, i.e. a strong base!
I believe and have seen that every student is an intelligent one, just need to show the correct path, rest they all know!
My way of teaching is focusing on making the base of the subject so smooth and simple that any future competition exams looks a cake walk!
And yes it’s possible for sure!!

Mr Vinod Shanker is a great chess teacher for beginner and intermediate players. His opening lessons helped me progress from 848 to 1203 elo within 2 months. I am still learning end games from him. My goal is to reach 1500 by end of March.
