About Lena
I am a very patient and encouraging person, and I enjoy supporting students through their learning journey. I believe learning should feel positive, interactive, and comfortable, not stressful. Because I have studied and lived in China, Canada, Australia, and Malaysia, I am able to understand different cultures and communicate with students from different backgrounds. I also have a wide range of interests, so I like bringing energy, real-life examples, and a friendly attitude into my lessons.

I like to make my lessons interactive and easy to follow, not just based on textbooks. I think language learning works best when students can speak, ask questions, and practise in real situations. In class, I usually combine vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, and simple grammar, so students can build confidence step by step. My lessons are usually 60 minutes long, and I can adjust the pace depending on age and level. I have a certificate in teaching Chinese, and my lessons are suitable for beginners, school students, or anyone who wants to improve their Mandarin in a patient and encouraging environment.
