About Suresh
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, with over 50 years work experience at senior levels in manufacturing companies, trading companies and teaching. This includes 18 years teaching experience of most modules for the AAT programme, CIMA and ACCA.
My class sizes have varied from 10 to 40 students, and some 1 to 1 classes.
My students have mostly obtained above the national average grades, and 70% of them have passed their exams at their first attempt

Most of my teaching has been for professional qualifications, such as CIMA, AAT and ACCA - at all levels.
Depending on the class size, my first objective is to get to know each of the students individually, and identify the stronger and weaker ones, so that I can differentiate in teaching the weaker ones in a manner that they can improve their skills to a higher level.
I start by teaching the theory of the topics, and relate this to it's application in the real work place (as I have actually worked as a Financial / Management Accountant in several companies.
This is followed by getting students to do tasks/activities where they apply the theory they have been taught. Depending on time, I set them homework to do, and discuss this at their next class, and usually have a Q&A session to allow students to discuss topics they might not have fully grasped.
I always allow one or two classes at the end of each module for revision, and get students to do one or two previous exam papers, to get them to get them ready for their exam, and to also get them familiar with the manner in which question papers are set.
