About Skye
My name is Skye, I am 28 years old and from South Africa. I studied Civil Engineering at the University of Pretoria and am currently working in Construction, where I build bridges, roads and other structures. Completing my degree and pursuing my career as an Engineer is one of the things I am most proud of. I have experience tutoring students from age 15, all the way up to 2nd and 3rd year University Students. I am able to explain simple concepts, as well as break down more complicated concepts in a way that someone non-technical can understand. I have also assisted adults who have not studied in years, to gain confidence in themselves with their studies. I love the outdoors, hiking, being in nature and playing guitar in my spare time.

I will be teaching in English, and am happy to take the lesson at whatever pace suits you. I am patient and prefer to have a good idea of what learning methods and approaches work best for you. Every individual is different. I'll get an idea of which areas of work you struggle with and which you enjoy. We'll focus on getting a proper base understanding of your difficult points, do practice examples, old past papers and old exams. If you still don't understand, I will approach the work from a different angle, and will be happy to cover the work as many times as you need to feel comfortable. There is no such thing as a silly question, and I will answer the same question as many times as you need to understand.
