About Jacob
Hey! My name is Jacob, and I’m a Junior at Manhattan School of Music, studying Classical Composition with Dr. J. Mark Stambaugh. I’m originally from San Antonio, Texas, and I’ve been playing string instruments since I was a kid. My music style is a mix of early to mid-20th-century and Impressionist techniques (think Stravinsky, Debussy, and Hindemith!). I’m a huge fan of French Impressionism and Neo-Classical music! When I’m not composing, I love to stay fit and healthy. When I’m not at my job (I work at Cyclebar NYC!), you can find me at a Pilates studio or a spa. Spreading my love for music is my passion and inspiring people to chase their passions is my ambition! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
