My name is Christine Laverick and Victoria Stilwell is, and has been, my singing teacher for many months. I am now 73 years old and having always thought I couldn’t sing in tune I decided to test my theory whilst learning a new skill.
Victoria is such a professional and encouraging woman who has and will always find a way to approach any misunderstandings / stumbling blocks of mine. She makes the practice and learning of such a new project interesting and enjoyable especially when “ the penny drops”.
Victoria is very open to my suggestions or questions about what I could learn to sing and consequently ( even at my age ) I am going to take my Grade 1 exam shortly singing four different types of songs.

Victoria has been tutoring me for over 2 years and every lesson has been a fun experience. Victoria is very patient and willing to take the time to tackle difficult sections until I am comfortable with them, but she also knows how to change focus to avoid unnecessary frustration in the moment.
She has been very adaptable, allowing me to attempt songs in many styles and really challenge my own range and abilities.
She’s helped me to build a lot of confidence over the last two years, providing a lot of encouragement and a strong focus on technique.
