Hello! I have been performing classical piano for 15 years and have studied with numerous teachers and pianists at the university level. I have also won or placed in piano competitions from the state to international level. I have taught classical piano for 10 years from the elementary level to undergraduate level. I believe that every student I work with is also a unique opportunity for me to continue learning as well, because the best teachers always strive to be students themselves! I am always patient, enthusiastic, light-hearted, and well prepared for every individual student's unique needs and goals. Additional to all things music theory and repertoire, I focus a lot on the student's physical comfort and movement efficiency of the hands and arms to make sure that the student can practice and perform without sustaining injury to the hands and arms or simply feeling "tired and fatigued", which is all too common! Many students can become discouraged when becoming tired or injured, and I want to be a source of knowledge and encouragement that there are physical and mental solutions to piano performance! I look forward to sharing my passion for music and performance with you!
