About Andrea
I studied music at university, where I trained as a classical singer. Through the years, I have taught scores of pupils, preparing them for ABRSM singing exams and GCSE vocal performance. My students achieved good results, and often continued to sing throughout their lives. I have also trained school choirs.

I teach people who want to take ABRSM music exams grades 1-6; and people who want to sing for pleasure - aged between 12-70! Singing requires good technique, so my lessons begin with breathing and vocal exercises, and correct posture. This is then put into practice through singing repertoire.

Perfect! I was nervous about my singing abilities, however, Andrea is putting me at ease, encouraging me and giving me the confidence, to continue.

Perfect! I haven't adding like this for decades and Andrea was patient and kind. She started with the very basics (posture and breathing), corrected what needed to be corrected and moved on. She worked through vocalise with me to find what would work for me, helped to get back my understanding of how my voice works and reminded me of what it could do. Honestly I nearly cried with joy when I felt the physical changes that helped me sing and that I thought I'd forgotten. Can't wait to do it again.
- Lynne is a lovely singer, and has such energy and talent for this art. She is looking forward to getting back into practice. Our first lesson was a pleasure!Andrea's response :
Perfect! My daughter was quite nervous about singing and her voice in general, but Andrea has been very encouraging and made her feel more confident. She's now looking forward to more lessons in which I'm sure she'll improve because Andrea's lessons are well thought out and enjoyable.
