About Morgan
I started my musical journey at a young age in the state of Texas, and continued my journey in the state of Florida, where I am currently studying under Dr. Bish and Dr. Holden at Florida State University. I had started my college career at the University of Central Florida spending my time as principle clarinetist in various ensembles, including new music ensembles, wind ensembles, and orchestras. As I was eager for a challenge in my musical education, I transferred to Florida State University where I am currently playing bass clarinet for FSU's Wind Orchestra.
I have always been passionate about all kinds of music from a very young age, and have continued to grow this passion with my deeper understanding of my instrument and music as a whole. I feel that I have a very strong understanding of musical expression and various music styles, including jazz.

I am currently a third year clarinet performance major at FSU's College of Music studying with highly skilled and professional musicians. I have been playing clarinet for roughly 8 years, starting my musical journey in chorus about 12 years ago. I have experience playing in various ensembles: chamber, orchestra (Bb clarinet/Eb clarinet), wind ensembles (Bb clarinet/bass clarinet/Eb clarinet), jazz ensembles (tenor saxophone), solo work (recitals/solo and ensemble), auditions (college/competition/placement), etc.
I offer lessons for any level, beginners to advanced, focusing on proper technique in embouchure, articulation, fingerings, etc. Along with technique, I provide musicality instruction focusing on melodic and rhythmic dictation, stylistic understanding, phrasing, etc. I will also provide helpful practice tools and techniques.
Overall, I absolutely love music and would love to share all of my knowledge with aspiring musicians!
