About Gawain
I have recently graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a degree in Classical Performance. With over 20 years of experience, I have worked and performed with some of the brightest musicians and musical theater artists around! Having spent time in the United States in the “business” I feel I can bring a well rounded approach to learning as well as the experience to help you reach your potential!

I believe it is important to always start with the basics and to have a real attention to detail. I also believe in a free flowing and creative environment which allows you to have clear direction, but also the space to express yourself and learn what you want to learn! We will work from music and some technique books, but many of the exercises we will work on together are things you can do just about anywhere! Always remember, we play music, we don’t work music!
