About Lily
I have always had a passion for singing and music as it and having graduated from Leeds Conservatoire studying classical voice I have a breadth of knowlegde about different styles of singing and music theory. I have a vast amount of performance experience including performing with the Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir, Buxton International Music Festival and an array of opera roles, recitals and choirs within Leeds Conservatoire.
Having taught singing and music theory to many students, I am experienced in teaching all ages and abilitites. I am also familiar with both ABRSM and Trinity exam boards and am happy to help students through their music grades.

My main priority within my singing lessons is teaching and promoting healthy vocal technique and ensuring the lessons are enjoyable as well as rewarding. I understand that everyone learns in a different way and I adapt every lesson for each individual so my students get as much out of the sessions as possible. I can teach a variety of genres including pop, jazz, classical and musical theatre and can tailor each lesson based on your personal goals.
What the first lesson looks like:
- The lesson will begin with a quick chat to get to know each other and to understand what you want from
the lesson.
- Then there'll will be some fun warm ups and exercises to find out more about your voice.
- Finally we'll work through a song you know and love together.
