About Sunil

I am a Clarity Coach having trained with Clarity Coaching in London in 2015.

In addition to my training as a coach, I feel that it is my experience in my life and the transformations and transitions, in areas such as health and employment that I've gone through, that make me able to guide others in doing the same.

During my journey, I have successfully transitioned to doing a number of different types of work and overcome health issues such as chronic fatigue, anxiety and depression.

I have been practicing meditation for over 20 years, and lived and worked for a number of years at a retreat centre created by a buddhist organisation, which was dedicated to promoting people's health and wellbeing.

Prior to coaching, I have run a number of workshops designed to help participants open to their creativity and clarity, both at the retreat centre and I also at a project I initiated with a friend in London.

My recent clients are reporting great results, for example, one has got the job she wanted despite fierce competition. She is also moving forward with creating her own clothing brand and we've now moved on to changing patterns helping her to create healthier relationships in her life.

Another client is progressing consistently with writing her second book, where previously she was procrastinating. She is also advancing in creating projects which earn her a living from what she loves - writing and helping other writers get published. In the process, we have been transforming what has been holding her back in almost all areas of her life.

In addition to the coach training, I have qualification / training in Art Therapy and Non-violent communication.

Through a special coaching conversation designed to help you listen deep within yourself to your intuition, to gain clarity and knowing, I can help you become aware of what wants to be created through you.

My approach is collaborative and non-directive, which means that I work together with the client to create the change and results you want. You are in-charge of the process, which I facilitate with observation, questioning, listening and feedback to create a conversation that promotes insight and learning.

I help my clients create the results they want by helping them gain greater awareness of their values, thoughts, emotions, beliefs, actions and habits which are responsible for results they are getting in their lives.

This clarity gives them greater power and focus for transformation, allowing them to better choose the direction in which they're heading, by being the person they need to be, taking the steps needed, to have the results they want.

  • ¿Hace cuánto tiempo que te interesas en el mundo del bienestar? ¿Cuándo empezaste a practicarlo?

    ¡Me interesa el tema de salud y el bienestar desde hace más que 20 años!
    Por razones de salud empecé a meditar y a cambiar hábitos, por ejemplo, de alimentación para solucionar algunos problemas para los que los médicos no pudieron darme una solución inmediata. Este camino me llevó a vivir en un isla de retiro montada por budistas y también a estudiar arte terapia y coaching, y dedicarme a trabajar con gente que nunca había imaginado.
  • Dinos lo que tu disciplina puede aportar de bueno y cuéntanos si ésta puede ser complementaria con otra.

    Actualmente medito y practico mindfulness y yoga. Con estas disciplinas uno puede empezar a darse cuenta de lo que está pasando nivel físico, emocional y mental. Para mí, este es el primer paso hacia el bienestar y la salud.
  • Hablando de bienestar. ¿Podrías darnos algún consejo para sentirnos bien con nuestro cuerpo y mente?

    Empieza a escucharte.
    Reflexiona.

    De cualquier manera que puedas; escuchando tu cuerpo, las emociones y las circunstancias de tu vida. Qué está intentando comunicarte. La meditación y la practica de mindfulness es un buen comienzo en este camino.
  • ¿Cómo definirías tú, como profesor, el método que sigues?

    Mi método de coaching es crear un espacio para una profunda escucha. Para que la persona pueda darse cuenta de algo que no había visto antes.
    En algún sentido es como una meditación en una conversación. Lo hago a través de las preguntas, escuchando, observando y ayudando a la persona a reflexionar. Es un método que pone el foco en los pensamientos, emociones, valores, creencias, hábitos para que la persona tenga claro cómo está creando su realidad y poder elegir con más consciencia la dirección hacia dónde quiere ir y poder tomar pasos hacia ello.
  • ¿Consideras que has aprendido cosas sobre ti mismo o sobre los demás gracias a esta práctica?

    Sí, he aprendido que siempre es posible cambiar en función de tu consciencia. Cuando cambias tu mente puedes cambiar lo de fuera.
  • ¿Te has inspirado en alguien o en algún modelo para desarrollar tu actividad?

    He tenido muchas influencias en mi trabajo, como las enseñanzas budista y prácticas de meditación.
  • Cuéntanos qué haces en tu tiempo libre y que te ayuda a relajarte.

    En mi tiempo libre me gusta bailar y practicar deportes en la naturaleza como el esnórquel y snowboard. También me gusta ir en bici.
  • Dinos porqué aconsejas practicarlo y qué beneficios aporta.

    Me encantan esas actividades porque me llevan a un estado meditativo donde estoy más plenamente en el presente. ¡Me llevan a una forma de ser que los profesionales de psicología positiva llaman el Flow!
