About Harper
I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska Omaha, where I supported youth coding clubs, robotics groups, and creative programming workshops. With 5+ years of online teaching, I’ve supported total beginners, intermediate coders, and advanced young developers. Parents appreciate my structured explanations, while students love the creativity, support, and flexibility they receive.

I introduce coding through a gentle, logical approach that makes it feel friendly instead of intimidating. We begin by understanding how computers process instructions, then move into Python through fun mini-programs. SQL becomes simple through visual data examples, JavaScript teaches interactive thinking, Java builds strong structure, and MATLAB becomes a tool for working with numbers and logic.
For creative students, I teach video game programming, where they design movement, scoring, interactions, and simple animations. Each lesson is calm, patient, and tailored to the student’s pace.
And because coding often sparks questions at unexpected moments, I offer flexible scheduling, allowing students to learn at times when they feel focused, relaxed, and ready to explore.
