About Marla
Hi, I’m Marla, a math tutor with 6 years of experience helping K-12 and college 1st year students actually enjoy math. I know how frustrating it feels when numbers don’t make sense, because I’ve been there too. That’s why I focus on patience, clear explanations, and turning “I can’t” into “I get it!”
Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked with 200+ students on everything from elementary math and algebra to calculus I and SAT/ACT prep. My goal isn’t just better grades, it’s building the confidence that sticks with you long after the test is over. When I’m not tutoring, you’ll find me solving puzzles or finding new ways to explain tricky concepts. Let’s make math your strength.
