About John
I’m a passionate instructor with over 35 years teaching experience who is dedicated to helping students achieve musical mastery of their instrument and having fun while doing so. I have taught in Colleges, Conservatories and Music Stores. And have found that no matter where I teach and at what level, I find it exciting, challenging, and very rewarding. I teach many styles of music, and look forward to passing on my knowledge to each of my students.

I teach many styles of music including Rock, Blues, Classical and Jazz. Students will learn many things including, how to read music, music theory, improvisation and soloing. They’ll learn about strumming patterns, chord development, techniques, scales, chord melody, and much more. Students will learn how to play their favorite song whether it’s a favorite Rock song, or a Classical etude. Most of all, students will learn how to play in a fun-filled, laid-back, comfortable setting.
