About Jacob
I am a fourth-year physics major at Grinnell College (in Iowa) who is currently performing research in the field of neutrino physics. I have been tutoring for the past two years and have worked with students individually and in larger groups. My tutoring experience has primarily been in introductory and intermediate classical mechanics, but am open to work with students on other topics.

My approach to teaching is to work with students so that they achieve their academic goals and begin to feel more comfortable working with physics, regardless of their major or discipline. I encourage all of my students to not only be able to complete problems, but to explain why they solved the problem in that particular way. I have found this to be the best strategy in learning to be a strong physics student.
