About Hong
I am a college professor with Ph.D in chemistry, and many years teaching and research experiences in bio-medical sciences. I have taught advanced college level courses, and I have tutored middle school, high school and college students with various ages and background in math, chemistry and biochemistry for over 20 years. I really enjoy to help students not only improving their grades, but also developing a geniune interest in math and science.

My strength is one-on-one individual teaching. Based on the assessment of the current level of knowledge the student has for the subject, and some exploration on the preferred or effective method of studying, I am very good at tailering the tutoring method to each student's need, and adjust turtoring method accordingly as the study session going forward.

Details
For chemistry and biology high school level courses, the rate will be $30/hr.
For any college level courses, the rate will be $50/hr.
If I travel to student's house, I will charge a $20 travelling fee per session if the place is within 10 mile of distance.
