About Merik
I have been a mathematics and physics tutor through the University of Central Oklahoma for just over 3 years. In that time I assisted an estimated 30 people a semester many times over. I received multiple commendations from the University for my work in assisting my peers. My students were often those forced to retake a course do to difficulty with it and I am proud to say that not one of my regular students was required to retake the course that I tutored them with and over 90% succeeded with a B or A in the specified course.

I am currently an Engineering and Mathematics student entering my senior year. I offer lessons and assistance through all levels of mathematics from introductory algebra through all levels of calculus and even differential equations and linear algebra. I firmly believe that the best way to master any mathematics or physics concepts are through guided examples so that students will encounter real problems such as those that may appear on tests and do so in an environment where I can assist them in overcoming them so that they can do so flawlessly when encountered in a test scenario.

Merik is very intelligent, works well with people, and has a great sense of humor. He has a very good approach to rapport when dealing with new people and teaching them subject matter that they struggle with. He manages to explain things in a manner that is individualized to the person and also doesn't make them feel defeated or intimidated by difficult material. He has a good work ethic, is trustworthy, and manages his studies/class/work time very well. He has a lot to offer other students and peers who may struggle in college.
