About Jo
I am a college student who has helped tutor other students through out my school career. Personally I struggled with dyscalculia which impacts my ability to easily write and do math. As such I have learned many ways to learn cope so I can achieve high marks in my college English classes. I hope to help others who struggle with writing and reading these tactics so they have have a larger arsenal of coping techniques for themselves.

I combine many techniques when teaching including written and verbal instructions / explanations along with a neuro divergent affirming approach that is multifaceted. Making sure i am allowing time for movment as needed and create an open space for questions I feel is essential. Mistakes are the key to improvement and I believe they also are the key to deeping understanding.
