About Emily
I greatly enjoy writing, be it for fun or a class, creative or academic. I know others do not always enjoy writing as much as I do, so I strive to help make the task less daunting. Helping students build tools to understand dense passages and guiding them through the steps of writing papers for any type of class or application are things I greatly enjoy doing.

Understanding of academic texts and being able to write academically is a central pillar in many schools, be it middle school, college, or anything in between. As it is so important, building a strong foundation in understanding texts is important, and where I like to begin working with my students. From there, I am happy to help guide students through the writing process and provide proofreading and suggestions as is needed.
