About Kayla
I am in college pursuing 2 degrees, one in Elementary Teacher Education and one in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on Social and Behavioral Sciences. I have 4 years of experience tutoring in one-on-one settings and group settings of up to 10 students. I love my work and helping young minds to grasp concepts that never truly made sense before. I believe in setting the proper foundation of knowledge when children are young so that they can have the best chances of succeeding in their education later on.

I adapt my teaching method to each child so that the experience is the most beneficial and enjoyable for everyone. I believe that when the content meets you where you're at, you have a much easier time grasping concepts. I tutor elementary school students primarily but am happy to work with middle school students as well.
