I graduated from the University of Denver with a B.S. in Ecology & Biodiversity and minors in Mathematics and Socio-legal studies. My coursework has given me a strong background in mathematics. University courses I have taken include statistics, mathematical reasoning and proof, and linear algebra. Hi! My name’s Mick. I graduated from the University of Denver with a B.S. in Ecology & Biodiversity and minors in Mathematics and Socio-legal studies with a 4.00 GPA in mathematics. I have over 5 years of experience tutoring math, including Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Probability, Statistics, and SAT math prep. I have worked with all age groups from pre-k students through working adults returning to college. My goal is to build my student's confidence in math. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing through the process. I am patient, communicative, knowledgeable, and fully dedicated to helping my students succeed. My approach is personalized and tailored to each student’s unique learning style and goals. Whether we are working through practice problems, breaking down challenging concepts, or preparing for an exam, I'm here to help you succeed.
