About Kayla

Hello, everyone! I am a native English speaker born and raised in the United States. I am TEFL/TESOL certified. My training includes online live peer teaching and trainer feedback. I also have experience working with children and teens. I'm excited to teach students from all walks of life and enhance their level of learning. I am highly energetic and spend a lot of my time singing and dancing! I look forward to building teacher-student connections with every lesson!

About the lesson

Students will learn several elements of English: Reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar and vocabulary. These components include, but are not limited to: Phonics, pronunciation, comprehension, fluency, phonemic and phonological awareness, spelling, sentence structuring, punctuation, tenses, and parts of speech. Students will be taught with an interactive and fun teaching style. This will motivate students to participate in the lesson by introducing them to things they enjoy such as games/activities, songs/music, dancing and video clips. The lesson will also include a list of topics for students to learn about such as food, clothing, shapes, colors, numbers, animals, body parts, weather, letters/alphabet and more!
