About David
For the last several years, I've worked diligently to perfect my craft, and to grow into an illustrator that I can be confident in. I've been to numerous comic conventions and trade shows, and have personally sold over 700 copies of my self published books. AS my pupil I want to instill in you the confidence to not only pursue your work, but to put yourself out there, and let others experience the great work you can do.

My plan, is not to just teach you what a well done comic or piece of art looks like. But to help you to develop a better understanding of how you can create a well made piece.
Our typical class will start with an assessment of your current level, and what you are working on presently. Followed by a critique and then a guided correction. Other classes will have us assessing classic and great comic works, gaining an understanding of their methods, and how you can use their experience to understand your own work.
There are a lot of folks like me, who grew up with an affinity for art and storytelling, but no way to truly explore these avenues or express ourselves. With nowhere else to turn, I had only myself, and my determination to fall on. Everything I know, I've learned by intense study, and years of practice and discipline.
I've taught myself not only how to illustrate comics, but how to understand them, and that's what I'll be teaching you.
My lessons are for all ages, and grades. No matter where you are at in your journey, I will do everything in my power to help you through it.
