About Xiaoxuan
I am a communication major, graduating from a top 20 university in America. I have been accepted by LSE for graduate school and I am proficient in preparing for such standardized tests as GRE and TOEFL. As an international student from China myself, I am keen to help students of various levels to find their confidence as well as prepare for their exciting future. As a sister and a tutor in college, I have taught over 100 students from college level to primary school students while tailoring my teaching philosophies to suit different personalities. I believe in the role of a great educator and their potential to benefit deeply and profoundly in one's life.

My teaching philosophy is based on mutual respect and understanding of each other's backgrounds, talents, and experiences. In addition, my teaching emphasizes interactivity, flexibility, and progress. As I hold high expectations towards myself, I also believe in efficiency and the importance of accountability and timelines. As I adjust my teaching styles to different students, I will also design individualized progress schedules with different students respectively. For example, although a mentally divergent student may receive different styles of teaching from a taciturn student, they both deserve a reasonable timeline that suits their situations for progress and learning.
