About Michelle
Hello,
My name is Michelle, and I'm a current Bachelor of Communications student in Canada. I've been a tutor since middle school and a proponent of one-on-one support for even longer!
My goal is to assist students that have struggled with growing class sizes or adapting to changes within schooling. I want to provide a tutoring service that is accessible, personalized and trustworthy. This is accomplished by my commitment to open communication and accountability. My lessons are geared toward younger students, specifically those in elementary/primary school and middle school that need extra support in Math and English.
I employ a versatile teaching methodology that is easily adaptable to fit every child's individual needs.
Our first lesson will be an overview of the syllabus and a few practice questions to determine proficiency and areas of strength or weakness. Our time together is improved by prior communication about your child's desired field of focus.
As a current student, I have a unique perspective on the benefits of one-on-one tutoring and the need for customized teaching techniques that are difficult to maintain in a traditional classroom.
