About Maria
I am a qualified English teacher who has been teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5. I am a Comparative Literature Graduate and have a lot of knowledge on the subject. I have been tutoring since winter 2017 and I really enjoy taking my practice beyond the classroom. I am here to support students at any level in their studies of Comparative Literature.

My methodology depends on the students as well as the texts studied. Normally, I would introduce the background of the texts, then choose a few themes to focus on. The key is to draw comparison between literary works. I let my students express their opinions in regards to themes, similarities and differences between works, and engage in discussion with the purpose of developing ideas further.
