About the lesson

Hi, I’m Vicky! As a completely fluent native Spanish speaker and a dedicated high school student, I offer personalized and engaging Spanish tutoring for students of all ages and proficiency levels.

My Teaching Method and Techniques

I believe in a communicative approach to language learning, focusing on real-life conversations and practical usage of Spanish. My lessons incorporate a variety of interactive activities, including role-playing, multimedia resources, and cultural immersion, to make learning enjoyable and effective.

A Typical Lesson Plan

Each lesson is tailored to the student's needs and goals, but here’s a general structure:

Warm-Up: Start with a casual conversation to practice speaking and build confidence.
Review: Go over previous lessons to reinforce knowledge and address any difficulties.
New Material: Introduce new vocabulary, grammar, or cultural insights using engaging materials.
Practice: Interactive exercises such as dialogues, writing prompts, and listening activities to apply what’s learned.
Homework: Assign fun and practical tasks to reinforce the lesson outside of tutoring sessions.
What Sets Me Apart

Relatable Peer Tutor: As a high school student, I understand the challenges and pressures students face. I create a supportive and relatable learning environment.
Cultural Insights: Being a native speaker, I offer authentic cultural insights that enrich the learning experience.
Flexibility: I adapt my teaching style to match the learning pace and preferences of each student, ensuring a personalized learning journey.
Who the Lessons Are For

Beginners: Those just starting with Spanish, focusing on basic vocabulary and simple conversations.
Intermediate Learners: Students who have some Spanish knowledge and want to improve their skills.
Advanced Students: Individuals aiming to perfect their fluency and understanding of complex grammatical structures.
High School Students: Fellow high school students needing help with Spanish classes or preparing for exams.
Let’s embark on this exciting journey of mastering Spanish together!
