About Jay
I have been tutoring students since I was in the 10th grade. I was part of a tutoring program in my school, where I would tutor other students in various math concepts.In addition to that, I took up a tutoring job in my 11th grade at a learning center called Mathnasium where I tutored students in math concepts ranging from elementary math(addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to calculus topics. In addition, I would communicate with parents following each student’s session, either in-person or over email. This would be to assess each students progress and to determine which concepts they need help in. Tutoring is a passion of mine and I love to work with students who are willing to put in the work.

I use a very traditional teaching method, where I first explain the concpets to my students and follow them with examples. After I am able to conclude that the student has mastered each example and fully understands the concept, I move on to a different c. I love to challenge my students and want them to work hard. I have been using this teaching method for over 1.5 years, and have plenty experience with tutoring.
