Hi! I’m Shane, a Computer Science student at Maynooth University with a passion for helping others understand programming and tech in a simple, practical way. I teach computer science in a clear, structured way that focuses on understanding the “why” behind the code — not just memorizing syntax. My lessons are ideal for secondary school and university students who want to build confidence in programming, problem-solving, or theory. A typical lesson lasts 1 hour and combines short explanations, live coding, and guided exercises. I adapt my approach depending on each student’s goals, whether that’s passing exams, improving assignments, or learning to code from scratch. I’m a third-year Computer Science student at Maynooth University with experience tutoring topics like Java, Python, algorithms, and databases.
