About Diya
Hi! I’m Diya, a passionate math enthusiast and digital marketer who loves working with numbers and helping others feel confident with them too. I’ve always believed that math doesn’t have to be intimidating. With the right approach and a bit of patience, it can actually be fun! Over the years, my work in digital marketing has sharpened my analytical and problem-solving skills and I enjoy bringing that real-world perspective into my lessons. I’m dedicated to creating a comfortable, encouraging learning environment where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes and grow at their own pace. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them truly understand and even enjoy math. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring how math connects to everyday life whether it’s through data, patterns, or puzzles.

I start by assessing each student’s current comfort level with the subject and then create a personalised, structured curriculum that suits their individual needs because there’s no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to learning.
My main focus is on building strong fundamentals. Once the basics are clear, understanding new concepts and solving problems becomes much easier and more enjoyable. I know that many children don’t naturally love maths, but my goal is to help them fall in love with the subject through patience, creativity and fun learning techniques.
I also share tips and tricks for learning abacus and thereby improving mental math skills, which help students become faster and more confident with numbers.
Each lesson is typically 1 hour long. While I’m new to tutoring, I’m definitely not new to maths. As a digital marketer by profession, working with numbers is my everyday bread and butter!
These lessons are ideal for students aged 8 and above who want to build a solid mathematical foundation. However, anyone looking for a refresher course is more than welcome to join.
