About Yasser

I am a Computer Science student at UPEI with a strong passion for mathematics and problem-solving. I graduated high school in Morocco—a curriculum renowned for its rigorous mathematical standards—achieving a score of 17.34/20 (equivalent to a 90%+ average in Canada). Having tutored peers since middle school while continuing my own university studies, I have developed a sharp intuition for pinpointing exactly where students struggle. Combining this hands-on experience with my academic background, I offer a structured, encouraging environment to help students overcome hurdles, master math logic, and build genuine confidence.
And I want to tell anyone who reads this: math is really easy.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on deep conceptual understanding rather than simple memorization of shortcuts. As a Computer Science student, I tailor every lesson based on your current knowledge: if a topic is completely new, I build a strong foundation by explaining core principles step-by-step, followed by key properties, special cases, and targeted practice exercises. If you are already familiar with the material, I use guided, thought-provoking questions to identify exact knowledge gaps and work through problem-solving exercises together. My lessons are designed for middle and high school students who want to build confidence, master mathematical logic, and achieve long-term academic success.
