About Ananya
Hi! My name is Ananya, and I recently graduated high school and on the way to university! I am a passionate advocate for STEM and digital literacy. Throughout the last four years, I have participated in numerous STEM Competitions all around the Twin Cities, winning various awards and opportunities. Some of these competitions include Technovation, Congressional App Challenge, National Stem Festival, JSHS, and more. I even had the ability to go to companies like Target, U.S. Bank, and intern at General Mills. One of the specific projects I led in high school was a STEM class where I taught elementary kids how to code! It was through this and various tutoring opportunities through my school that I gained a love for helping and spreading STEM literacy! Outside of academics, I love to read, hang out with my friends, window shop, and spend time with my family.

As a tutor, I typically start off with teaching the material and then going through practice problems. Before the lesson, I ask if there are any specific topics that the student specifically struggles the most on to ensure that it gets covered. These lessons are for middle school and high school students as I have just graduated and entering a T20 university. What sets me apart is that I have gathered a deeper understanding of what students really need when learning difficult material. I have felt firsthand how much this can affect a student, so working through this not only academically but mentally is incredibly important.
