About Lily
I am here to help you navigate the incredible instrument that is attached to our person, that being our voices! In whatever way I can, I hope to assist you in finding your singing groove, while keeping practice fun, mindful and build a vocal routine that you look forward to each week. I am a local performing musician, regularly playing with a band and have played 50 gigs in the past year. I have put multiple singles out, some with over 20,000 streams and am about to wrap up recording on my current project under my own name. I'm super keen to inspire people to pursue their musical dreams and get their sound waves into a place they feel fantastic about.

Everybody's singing journeys are different, as everybody's voices are different! There are many techniques one can undertake to achieve a comfortable, rich singing voice. Finding what works best for you as a vocalist and practicing music that you love is my biggest priority as a singing teacher.
In our lessons, it is completely up to you what music you want to encounter, and I will do everything I can to help you discover your best singing voice while practicing music that resonates wonderfully with you, and if something isn't working, we'll pivot and try something new!
Songwriting, composition, stage presence, theory, piano, guitar and bass guitar are areas I am also extremely passionate about. If you're interested, we can tap into any of those exciting adventures as well.
I have been teaching singing professionally for the past 3 years, whilst being involved in the music scene for the past 10 years. I am currently at the Sydney Con, studying Contemporary Music Practice, learning about the world's wondrous current music landscape, working and writing for bands and doing lots of recording practice.
I look to tackle anything and everything with my music students, no matter your experience! We can start from the very basics, or if you're looking for some further knowledge in specific areas, we can pursue that as well.
All ages are welcome, and lessons can be as long or as short as you need them to be.
Typical lesson length is 30 minutes, but that is completely flexible. :)
