About Juan Pablo
I'm a very curious person who loves to share and co-create meaningful material with like-minded people. I think arts is our ability to appreciate and gift back in response to the phenomena around you. That act involves an introspective process and care for yourself and the person who is watching, I believe this process is needed the most nowadays.
I love to question and disrupt how things work, either be objects, institutions, laws, relationships and bodies. What better place to start that in a theatrespace and within your own bodies.

Actor warm-up exercises (individual or in group) on stage/empty space.
Improvisation exercises to ignite creative action, presence and active responsiveness to others, the present and narrative.
Discussion around concepts and personal archive dramaturgy for further final piece creation and individual acting method discovery.
1 hour duration class.
I've worked as drama teacher in Colombia at Saint George's school for primary and Highschool in 2023. I'm currently finishing a Master degree in Contemporary Performance at MMU. I've been part of several opera and theatre plays under the direction of Pedro Salazar, Alain Maratrat and Andres-Estrada Orozco. I co-founded Anfibia teatro, a student fringe company focused on reinterpreting classic plays under the feminist and postcolonial expression of latin american experience.
