About Michael
I have completed one novel. Have had four pieces published in online writing journals plus one poem published in book form, in an anthology. My personal 'driver' - the reason I write, is to bring people to feeling - which of course requires that one's stories have depth and detail.

The teaching model I work with primarily is based on the use of prompts to generate creative expression. Beginning classes/courses start with mini flash fiction (100 - 300 words) and move through flash fiction, short stories with a strong emphasis on character development, plotting strategy.
Typically the class model is based on 10 weeks of a structured programme.
One component, if a student wishes to pursue it, is poetry.
