About Daisy
I am an experienced Flute tutor with over 13 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for academic purposes, personal enjoyment, or career development. I enjoy guiding students through every stage of their learning journey.
My teaching approach is patient, structured, and student-centred. I focus on essential fundamentals such as breathing techniques, correct posture, finger coordination, tone development, and rhythm accuracy. I believe strong basics help students gain confidence and improve steadily.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, ear training, and performance techniques. These subjects help students develop overall musical understanding. I also assist students with exam preparation and stage performance.
One of my unique strengths is breaking complex musical concepts into simple and clear steps. I provide regular feedback, structured practice plans, and continuous encouragement. My goal is to help students enjoy learning flute and develop a lifelong passion for music.

My flute teaching approach is based on communication, creativity, and flexible learning to help students progress with confidence and enjoyment. I explain flute techniques clearly and encourage open interaction during lessons. Creative warm-ups, musical exercises, and expressive playing activities make learning interesting and engaging.
Lesson plans are adapted according to each student’s progress, learning needs, and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals while supporting musical expression and steady improvement. Flute lessons cover breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading.
Along with flute, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and performance skills to help students become confident and well-rounded musicians.
