About Sily
Over the last 8 years, I have taught flute to high school students, college musicians, and older adults. I have had the honour of guiding about 150–200 students in total. A major milestone for me was helping a group of students perform in a community concert.
Their confidence on stage showed how far they had come. I teach with clear instructions and gentle feedback, making sure every student feels comfortable and motivated. I love seeing students discover their musical strengths, whether they are beginners or more advanced players.

My teaching approach focuses on real-life connections, motivation, problem-solving, integrity, and flexibility. I explain flute skills using everyday ideas, like breathing slowly after a long walk or keeping rhythm with natural movement. These examples make learning simple and clear.
Motivation is always part of the lesson, and I help students track their improvement. When challenges appear, we take them apart and fix them step by step. I teach with honesty and respect, making sure students understand their strengths. I customise lesson speed and style and can teach related musical subjects as needed.
