About Ivy
My journey with guitar began with a strong interest in rhythm and melody. I followed this passion by completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them build confidence and musical skills. Teaching allows me to guide learners in a structured and supportive way.
My teaching style is friendly, clear, and adaptable. I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my methods to match their needs. I focus on step-by-step learning, steady improvement, and building strong fundamentals. Students are encouraged to practice regularly and enjoy the process.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing and exploring different music styles. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Teaching guitar is meaningful to me because I see students grow in both skill and confidence. Helping them enjoy music is truly rewarding.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students learn in a clear and comfortable way while building strong fundamentals. I guide learners through chord shapes, rhythm patterns, finger control, and smooth transitions using simple explanations. Each lesson is designed to make learning feel easy and structured. I use slow practice, repetition, and guided exercises to help students understand each concept properly. Students are encouraged to play with clarity rather than speed, which builds strong control and confidence over time.
Lessons are planned based on the student’s level and personal goals. Beginners start with basic chords, simple strumming, and easy songs. Intermediate learners improve chord transitions, picking techniques, and rhythm accuracy. Advanced students work on lead playing, improvisation, and expressive performance. Every lesson includes practice, feedback, and correction steps. This helps students stay consistent and motivated.
Learning guitar also supports creativity and confidence. Students begin to explore their own style and enjoy making music. Many develop patience and focus as they improve. My goal is to make guitar learning both fun and meaningful. Students learn to enjoy music while building strong skills.
