About Ophelia
My passion for the guitar began when I first discovered how a few chords could create a full musical atmosphere. This fascination led me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance, where I studied technique, music theory, and different styles of guitar music. Over the past 8 years, I have helped students build their skills step by step while developing confidence in their playing abilities.
I believe that music learning should feel encouraging and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, patient guidance, and structured practice routines. Every student has different goals, so I adapt lessons to match their interests. Some learners enjoy playing songs and improving rhythm skills, while others explore music theory and composition. By adjusting lessons to each student’s needs, I help them stay motivated and engaged.
Outside of teaching, I continue practicing guitar, studying new techniques, and exploring different musical styles. These activities help me bring fresh ideas and inspiration into my lessons. Teaching guitar allows me to share my love for music while supporting students as they grow creatively and confidently.

Learning guitar becomes exciting when students can quickly turn simple chords into real music. My lessons begin with building a strong foundation in posture, hand coordination, and rhythm awareness. Beginners start by learning basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple melodies that help them understand how music flows on the guitar. I guide students step by step so they feel comfortable moving between chords and maintaining steady rhythm. Short exercises and familiar song examples make the learning process enjoyable and motivating.
As students improve, we explore more advanced techniques such as fingerstyle playing, chord variations, and rhythm changes. These skills help learners develop greater control over their sound and musical expression. Lessons also include timing practice, listening exercises, and understanding how chord progressions shape a song. Students gradually become more confident in playing complete pieces while maintaining steady rhythm and tone clarity.
My goal is to help every student enjoy the process of learning music. Lessons encourage creativity and personal expression, allowing learners to explore their own musical interests. Over time students develop stronger technique, better musical understanding, and the confidence to perform or play for their own enjoyment. Guitar then becomes a lifelong companion for creativity and relaxation.
