About Louis
With over 20 years teaching at all levels, including over a dozen in the AP social studies classroom, I'm ready to help you out like I helped hundreds of diverse learners over my time in the classroom. Whether you have a question about ONE APUSH skill or want to say, "HELP, I don't get ANY of this," I'm your ticket to serious improvement in any social studies class. And, we'll also have a heck of a lot of fun along the way.

History is a series of interconnecting STORIES.
Learning it is like making sense of a great tale.
My method combines excellent storytelling with excellent questioning.
If you don't know something, I'll question you until YOU get it.
If I don't know something, we'll find it together.
Lesson plans are tailored around YOU. We can work on content or we can work on reading, writing, document, DBQ, LEQ, SAQ skills.
With over a dozen years teaching APUSH and other AP social studies, I'm ready to take you from wherever you are to wherever you'd like to go.
I think that my breadth of knowledge, my ability to make things interesting, and my ability to teach skills, set me apart from many other teachers.
I'm ready to teach any high school level social studies class, but am more than happy to do younger students as well.
