About Deniz
I am an experienced singer, songwriter and music educator who has performed and taught internationally. My artistic and educational work is founded on my Bachelor's degree in Music Performance (Voice) from the Los Angeles College of Music and my Master's degree in Music Education from the Zurich University of the Arts.
I teach singing in the pop, rock and jazz styles, as well as providing basic accompaniment lessons on the piano, guitar and ukulele to support singing and songwriting. Having lived and worked in different countries, I have gathered a wide range of musical influences, which I incorporate into my teaching.
Music has been a source of peace, inspiration and self-expression for me since childhood. It has taught me the importance of authenticity and self-confidence. I strive to pass this on to my students through creative and supportive lessons that foster personal growth and the joy of making music.

I offer both one-to-one and group lessons, adapting each session to your personal needs and goals. Every class begins with breathing and warm-up exercises, followed by focused work on technique, expression, interpretation or songwriting, depending on your priorities.
I guide beginners and advanced students of all ages with empathy and a structured, goal-oriented approach. To me, music is a space of freedom and creativity, where you can explore, experiment and discover your own voice.
My goal is to inspire a love of making music and support you on your musical journey with trust, inspiration and openness.

Deniz ist eine wundervolle Gesangslehrperson, welche sehr gut auf die einzelnen Bedürfnisse der Schüler:innen eingeht. Sie ist sehr respektvoll und ein fröhlicher Mensch. Man merkt, dass sie sehr viel Leidenschaft in ihre Arbeit steckt und wie ihr das Wohl ihre Schüler:innen wichtig ist. Auch gesanglich ist sie sehr talentiert und ich konnte sehr viel von ihr profitieren!! Ich würde sie auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!!!
