I am a poet and independent researcher committed to the study and teaching of creative writing (poetry). As an active practitioner in my specific area of concentration, I have read and published my work widely in many leading domestic and international academic and arts institutions. I am passionate about sharing my enthusiasm for writing poetry, imparting all of my existing and expanding knowledge and experience to those interested in improving their craft, or those who are less experienced and want to begin writing their first poems: my sessions are open to all!

Hi! I am a published poet with a First Class MA in Creative Writing from the University of Greenwich. To date, I have published three books of poetry, and my appeared in many publications with a national and international standing. From my experience in leading poetry and poetics workshops at leading academic and arts institutions, I have cultivated my preferred mode of teaching which usually involves a discussion on selected readings (a poem or an essay on poetics), listening to audio works (a song or a recorded poetry reading), individual writing exercises and specific editing tasks, all aimed and tailored towards undergraduate and postgraduate creative writing students as well as general members of the public interested in the study and practice of writing poetry
