First Lesson Plan
1. Introductions
2. Short Language Activity: Short, informal activities (reading a short passage, a quick writing prompt) to gauge speaking, listening, and writing levels.
3. Goal-setting: Discuss why you're learning English (travel, work, creative writing, academic skills) and set specific goals (ex: improve pronunciation, write stronger essays...)
4. Mini Sample Activity: A small interactive exercise (dialogue practice or vocabulary game) so you learn something from the very first session.
5. Personalized Plan & Next Steps: Share initial feedback, outline a custom lesson schedule, and provide light homework.
Typical Lesson Plan
1. Goal Check In: Brief chat about the previous lesson, about your objectives for the session, and any questions from the week.
2. Immersion Activity: Short listening or reading piece (podcast clip, article, dialogue) to spark discussion and expose you to authentic English.
3. Guided Practice: Focused grammar or vocabulary work connected to the theme of the day.
4. Real-Life Application: Role-plays or scenario-based conversation.
5. Reflection & Assignment: Recap of key phrases, pronunciation tips, and a fun take-home practice task.
