I use a student-centered approach tailored to the diverse needs of students. I start by understanding each student's current skills, interests, and areas for improvement. My methods include engaging activities like interactive discussions, creative writing prompts, and fun literature-based games. I also focus on building foundational skills in reading comprehension and writing while fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous topics to refresh the student’s memory and address any questions. We then dive into a new concept or activity, such as exploring a short story, analyzing a poem, or working on a writing exercise. I incorporate multimedia resources and interactive elements to keep the sessions lively and engaging. The lesson wraps up with a recap of key points and setting simple, achievable goals for the next session to help reinforce learning and build confidence.

With over six years of experience as a middle school English teacher, I bring a deep understanding of adolescent development and effective teaching strategies. I excel at creating a supportive and dynamic environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks. My ability to adapt lessons to match individual learning styles and interests helps make literature and writing accessible and enjoyable for every student.
