Research shows that while adults are just as effective at acquiring language as children, they acquire it differently. The comprehensible input approach involves providing the student with input that is slightly above their level of understanding. In other words, it focuses on providing input that is comprehensible to the student. As time evolves, so does the complexity of the input provided. I honor the symbiotic relationship between culture and language and am always infusing this into the lessons.
